The King of Pop’s songs came alive Tuesday night as the cast of Glee belted out classic songs by Michael Jackson. The episode drew the most viewers to the show since October and a big boost in the key ratings demographic.
Despite that though, CBS’ repeats still drew the most overall viewers with 10.6 million viewers, according to Hit Fix. However, the network averaged a meager 1.7 18-49 rating. The NCIS repeat was the most watched show of the night, drawing 12.9 million viewers, while the NCIS: LA repeat drew 11.1 million. An Unforgettable repeat finished the night with 7.8 million viewers.
Fox had an average of 7.5 million viewers, but the best overall 18-49 rating with a 3.2. Glee drew 9 million viewers and a 3.6 18-49 rating. Entertainment Weekly reports that the show’s numbers were up 16 percent from the last new episode, which aired two weeks ago. This also translated to a 3 percent jump for New Girl’s ratings. Zooey Deschanel’s show drew a 3.5 18-49 rating and 7.2 million viewers. However, Raising Hope pulled the network’s average numbers down, falling 9 percent. The show drew just 4.7 million viewers and a 2.1 18-49 rating.
ABC came in third with 5.5 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating, notes Zap2It. The network started off with two Last Man Standing repeats that averaged 5.7 million viewers, while Celebrity Wife Swap drew 5.6 million viewers. Deadline reports that the reality show had a 1.9 18-49 rating, a series low. A Body of Proof repeat had 5.4 million viewers.
NBC finished fourth with 4.8 million and a 1.6 18-49 rating. The Biggest Loser averaged 6.1 million viewers and a 2.1 18-49 rating across its two hours. A Parenthood repeat drew just 2.4 million viewers.
The CW aired a new 90210, which drew a 0.7 18-49 rating, and a new Ringer, which had a 0.6. Both shows had around 1.4 million viewers.
