Glee removed from Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade
The cast of the Fox hit series "Glee" was slighted by Macys. "Glee" producers even signed paper work for the well known department store stating that their cast would take part in the Thanksgiving Day Parade but plans were changed once NBC got involved.
KLJB believes that because it would have directly promoted the show to have the whole cast involved, NBC brought things to a halt.
A spokesperson for Macy's said "As with any live event, the talent booking process is a fluid one subject to frequent updates or changes. Due to this fact, we don't confirm talent appearances for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade until early November when the final line-up is determined."
Fans believe that NBC's reaction is a reflection of the high school drama depicted on the show. While Fox entertainment did not comment on the turn of events "Glee" creator, Ryan Murphy, responded with "I completely understand NBC's position, and look forward to seeing a Jay Leno float."
