Gloria Allred Wants "Octomom's" Octuplets Taken Away
According to People, attorney Gloria Allred told Ryan Seacrest that Nadya Suleman's children should be taken away from her.
On Thursday, Allred said to Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show, "I definitely think the babies should be placed in foster care, so they can have the consistent care that they need to have, that they are not getting from their mother."
Allred is still upset about Suleman's decision to fire the childcare providers donated to her by Angels in Waiting. Allred said of Suleman's commitment to her children, "Of the 102 hours Angels In Waiting were in her home, Nadya only spent about eight hours in the nursery."
Four of Suleman's eight newborns are home, as well as her six other children. The other four babies remain in Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Hospital.
Allred accused Suleman of spending more time shopping than caring for her kids, saying, "Much of the time she's out shopping and when she returns she rarely stops in the nursery to see the babies or ask about how they are doing."
At the conclusion of the interview, a listener called in to the station, claiming they saw Suleman shopping for multiple pairs of shoes. Allred cried out, "She should be with her children and going to the hospital visiting the other four babies, not going shopping."
