Glover to play Skeletor
Smallville star rumored to play He-Man villain.
Fans of the WB's "Smallville" know prolific actor John Glover as the villainous Lionel Luthor. According to contactmusic.com and Glover's listing at imdb.com, he is up for the role of another high profile villain and the bane of He-Man's existence, Skeletor.
Glover's name breathes life into the near dormant project based on the popular toy line. Although director John Woo is still attached to direct, there has been little mention of any other casting for the proposed mega-budget actioner. This will be the second casting of the character since Frank Langella played Skeletor in 1987's "Master's of the Universe." The film also featured Dolph Lundgren and Courtney Cox.
