Gosselaar Excited About Book That Goes Behind the Bell
Saved by the Bell star Mark-Paul Gosselaar is nothing but exited about co-star Dustin Diamond's book, Behind the Bell, coming out, reports Us Magazine.
Apparently, according to New York Magazine, the book will hold nothing back, even venturing into the "sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying."
Gosselaar doesn't seem to mind one bit, as he told the L.A. Times Sunday concerning the book, "He's going to tell all the dirty laundry that was in Saved by the Bell. I can't wait!"
He even confesses, "Was I in a club at 16, smoking cigarettes, taking a drink from people? Yeah I was!"
"I did the thing that normal kids do. Did I go to house parties and do keg stands and beer bongs? That's what kids do! I didn't live in a bubble, but I was a normal kid. Nowadays these kids are trying to have an ounce of normalcy and they have a camera in their face," Gosselaar continued.
No matter what might be said of his teenage past, at age 34, Gosselaar is a lot tamer with two kids, Michael, 4, and Ava, 2, and a 12 year marriage to wife Lisa Ann Russell.
"Our weekends are pretty quiet with two kids. We try to get a babysitter for one of the nights and go to a nice restaurant. We're in that phase of our lives, the kids are that age where we're taking vacations together now."
