Grand Theft Auto IV: Game of the Year!
In the video game world, sequels are often the titles to beat. All the nominees for game of the year were the latest and greatest editions of popular games. On Sunday night, Grand Theft Auto IV grabbed the award for 2008 Video Game of the Year from the Spike TV Video Game Awards.
Breaking sales records in every category except highest selling game of all time, GTA IV won the hearts of reviewers. It also grabbed accolades for best Action Adventure Game.
