Grey's Anatomy Feud with the Stars

T.R. Knight, 33, plays the intern, Dr. George O'Malley on the hit ABC series, Grey's Anatomy. On October 19th, he was late to a scene filming and apparently Isaiah Washington, 43, who plays Dr. Preston Burke, had an argument with his co-star Patrick Dempsey, 40, for not wanting to wait for the late Knight. Washington apparently also used a gay remark about Knight to Dempsey.

On October 19th, Knight openly told the press that he is gay, 10 days after the scuffle between his two co-workers.

Washington publically came out and apologized about the entire affair, stating that he deeply regrets his actions and the words he used during the incident. He has also said that he apologized to everyone on the set that was involved and that he has the most respect for all of them.

Shonda Rhimes is the creator of the series and has said to People magazine, "It was 4 1/2 seconds of one day in three years. I feel like we've already moved on."
