Grey's Anatomy Stars Celebrate Baby Shower

It was a "Grey's Anatomy" party on Saturday as stars Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh and Rebecca Gayheart, convened at Katherine Heigl's home in Los Angeles to celebrate mom-to-be Ellen Pompeo.

They were joined by 21 other guests. Pompeo, who stars as Meredith Grey, the main character of "Grey's Anatomy," previously announced that she was expecting a daughter in October with husband Chris Ivery.

The event was held in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles and was outside despite the 104 degree heat. Umbrellas protected the guests from the heat.

Pink seemed to be the common theme, with pink flowers as centerpieces and gifts wrapped in pink. Many of the gifts came from Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks where Pompeo was registered.

The soon-to-be mommy was reported by PEOPLE as looking "gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends."

Pompeo is currently filming scenes of new episodes of "Grey's," though her character is not (yet) pregnant on the show, though she is now married.
