Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin, the number one overall pick in last June's NBA Draft, will miss up to six weeks with a knee injury, reports the Los Angeles Times. Depending on the schedule, Griffin could miss about 20 games.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Griffin injured his knee in a preseason game against the New Orleans Hornets when he came down on a dunk in the third quarter. ESPN states the Clippers will square off against the defending NBA Champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, tonight in what would have been Griffin's anticipated NBA debut.
