Gun N' Roses New Album Released

Guns N' Roses releases "Chinese Democracy," their first LP in 15 years and free pop for all!

The album goes on sale in the UK on Monday November 24, and is currently available for purchase on UK iTunes. The 14-track stunner fans have been patiently waiting for was posted on GNR's MySpace page last week. Most of the tracks have already been leaked and the song, "Shackler's Revenge," premiered on the video game, Rock Band 2's soundtrack.

According to federal authorities, blogger Kevin Cogill is alleged to have posted nine of the new GNR songs on his Web site, Antiquiet. He pleaded not guilty to breaking copyright laws at a Los Angeles court in October. If convicted, he faces up to three years and possibly longer if it's proven that Cogill profited from the leaks.

Dr Pepper agreed to give a free soft drink to every American if GNR did release the album in 2008. The soft drink manufacturer made the promise after several release dates for the album passed by.

Despite Internet rumors, Guns N' Roses will not be going on a reality TV show to promote Chinese Democracy. These rumors are false.
