Guns N' Roses 1st Album in 15 Years..

After a very long hiatus, Guns N' Roses are back, but how much has it cost?

It's been 15 years since Guns N' Roses put out a studio album, and "Cinese Democracy" is set to be released on November 23. The first single is already out to radio, and Matt Pinfield, radio personality and former record industry A&R man, said "I would imagine it's the most expensive rock record ever made."

As far back as 2002, over 300 tapes were sitting on shelves for a new GNR release. As time passed, music execs became more resigned that the growing budget would never produce a release. The artwork is in the final stages of approval, and the album is set to be distributed through an exclusive deal with Best Buy. The pressure for success is high, and the album is projected to be a number one hit.

With artists such as GNR and AC/DC released albums after long droughts, the old adage that Rock and Roll will never die is finally being put to the test.
