Guns N' Roses to Tour?
Guns N' Roses waited 15 years to release their new album, Chinese Democracy. Now, apparently they are wasting no time hitting the road.
LiveDaily reports that the band's guitarist, Richard Fortus, said to a St. Louis newspaper that the band are considering a two-year trek to begin in late March.
Fortus was in St. Louis playing with his band, Pale Divine, on Dec. 29 and mentioned to local media that St. Louis is a possible tour stop for Guns N' Roses during this new outing.
Guns N' Roses last played St. Louis in July 1991. During the concert, lead singer Axl Rose reportedly left the stage at Riverport Amphitheater because he was angry that there was a photographer in the audience taking pictures of him. Because of this, fans began a riot and damaged the venue, which was new at the time.
Fortus said to the Telegraph in an interview that he and Rose often joke that they would do "a tour of all the cities where there have been riots, and doing free shows."
