Guy Pearce Has Realistic View of Children

Actor says that he and his wife remain uninterested in starting a family.

Actor Guy Pearce has insisted he will never be playing the role of father, feeling that he would not be able to give children all the love and attention they deserve, WENN reports.

The 40-year-old England native and his wife Kate Mestitz are uninterested in expanding their brood. "We'd be on the news if we had kids," says the Memento actor. "We'd do something horrible to them or leave them somewhere."

But Pearce may be too hard on himself and his counterpart, revealing that, in actuality, he has a healthy view on the matter, thinking of the children's welfare first. "I shouldn't say that we'd do horrible things to them. I just mean that, well, I couldn't give them the constant love that they need," he admits.

And the actor may be too busy for family matters. He is currently in post-production on three film projects, set to be released later on this year.
