Gwyneth Paltrow says 'I don't like the Botox thing'

The actress plans to embrace her wrinkles

Going under the knife, or the needle, is so common in Hollywood that it is absolutely unheard of when a celebrity refuses to partake in the age-defying act. Gwyneth Paltrow is one of these rare beings. Paltrow opened up to Harper’s Bazaar in an interview for their March issue, saying that she would rather have wrinkles than Botox.

The long legged beauty plans to let nature take its course instead of desperately searching for the fountain of youth.

The actress tells Bazaar, “I’ll take my wrinkles. I don’t like the Botox thing.”

Paltrow does, however, confess to having a little help from lasers, facials, and other non-surgical products. She also admits to defying her dermatologist by enjoying the sunshine’s rays.

Despite her refusal of Botox, the 39-year-old is looking better than ever. In the magazine spread, Paltrow shows off her impeccably toned body and all-natural features. She is dressed in stunning gowns featuring slits high enough to leave little to the imagination.

Wondering what her secret is to looking this good? In addition to lasers and facials, Paltrow uses regular workouts and occasional detox programs to help with the aging process and staying youthful. After her father died in 2002 of throat cancer, the actress made a promise to herself to always live a healthy lifestyle.

“All I've learned about nutrition and health came from his cancer," she explains to Bazaar. "I'll probably have a long and healthy life because he didn't.”

Hopefully more celebrities will follow in Paltrow’s footsteps. She has a long life ahead and will likely be the most beautiful, and natural, 90-year-old Hollywood has ever seen.
