Haim Obtained Prescription Drugs from Doctors and Illegal Sources

ABC News is reporting that Haim’s agent released a statement on Monday that clarified how he may have obtained the prescription medications that lay by his side at the time that his body was found. The late 38-year-old actor’s agent stated that Haim had allegedly obtained his prescription medications from various doctors as well as other illegal sources.

Although autopsy results have not been released publicly yet, many are speculating that Haim’s death was caused by a consumption of various prescriptions drugs. Haim’s agent revealed details of a conversation that he had with his client that occurred two weeks before he passed away. He said that Haim claimed that he was drug-free and that he had been working diligently on ridding himself of his addiction with a doctor.

Haim’s agent told ABC News, “My hunch is he was using massive amounts of these drugs. He had dozens of doctors, many, many prescriptions, using many, many pharmacies, more than a dozen.” California Attorney General Jerry Brown confirmed that Corey Haim had been linked to an illegal drug ring located in Southern California last Friday.

Brown revealed that the prescription medications that were found in Haim’s name contained extremely serious drugs and that they are expected to be found as the cause of his death.
