Hair Band Takes the Show on the Road

Poison will be featuring classic-rock covers, from their new album, "Poison'd," on their summer tour.

It's time to whip out the hairspray and break the crimper out of the attic, because big hair days are back. Hair-bands of the eighties are making a comeback -- well, maybe not a comeback -- but they back. The boys from Poison are dusting off their "roses" and "thorns" and taking their show on the road. Poison bandmates, Bret Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Rikki Rockett and Bobby Dall, are showcasing their new album, "Poison'd," on a 55-date summer tour, which kicks off June 13 in Greenville, S.C. The album covers classic-rock type songs like, Alice Cooper's "I Never Cry," and the Rolling Stones' "Dead Flowers." Michaels describes the stage show as, "extremely over the top." Along with the tour and the new record, Michaels is premiering his VH1 reality show, "Rock of Love With Bret Michaels," on July 15. His reality television show will serve as a vehicle to introduce fans to his new material that will be featured on his new solo album, tentatively named, "Between a Rose and a Thorn."
