Halle Berry gets restraining order

Today, Halle Berry was granted a restraining order against Richard A. Franco, the stalker that terrorized her over the weekend. Berry was scared not only for herself, but also for the safely of her daughter.

After Franco was arrested following the third incident at her Hollywood Hills home, Berry filed for a restraining order. According to Forbes, Franco nearly followed Berry into her kitchen during one of his three invasions of her property.

“This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have,” Berry stated in her court filing, “I am extremely frightened of him and what he might do to me and those I love.” Los Angeles Times stated that Franco “had a history of violence, theft and drug offenses.” Berry now has a restraining order and has a trial set in August for an extension of the restraining order to three years.
