Hannah Montana Goes to Wal-Mart

Disney channels hit tween show "Hannah Montana" brings their product line to Wal-mart.

Disney is following in the footsteps of the Olsen twin empire with their attempt to cash in on the tween market. The Olsen twins hit Wal-Mart with their clothing line, make-up, shoes and accessories, now the Disney Channel is next in line. Wal-Mart is now host to the "Hannah Montana" product line. It will feature clothing designed with the tween girl, ages 9-14, in mind. Fourteen year old "Hannah" star Miley Cyrus also had a hand in the creation of the line, especially in regards to the colors. The clothing is a nod to Cyrus' television persona with a realistic "mom approved" style. The pieces are practical, not too sexy, yet have a little sparkle. There are a few items with Hannah Monana's face on it, but for the most part the fashion line is what an every day girl would wear to school. "Montana" is not the only Disney show staking their claim on the tween market, "High School Musical 2," the sequel to the outrageously successful Disney Channel Movie, has a deal with Wal-Mart as well and will accompany its release in August.
