The woman who played Adam Sandler's grandmother on Happy Gilmore passed away Thursday, E! Online reported.
Frances Bay died from various infections, a family member told E!.
Bay is also known for stealing Jerry Seinfeld's marble rye on an episode of Seinfeld. And although her resume boasts some of the most popular TV shows and movies, Bay spent most of her life as a housewife.
The Los Angeles Times reported the Canadian actress only ventured into Hollywood in her mid-fifties.
She said she always wanted to act, but felt "so plain" and "so little about myself."
When Bay married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Bay, she put all acting aspirations on hold and focused more on her home life.
In the 1970s, she and her husband moved to Manhattan, New York, where Bay decided to pursue her dream.
Bay leaves no survivors. Her husband passed away in 2002 and her son died when he was 23. According to IMDb, Bays last credit was as Aunt Ginny in ABC's The Middle.
