Hard Time for Lil' Kim
Rapper Lil' Kim sentenced to a year and 1 day for Perjury.
Lil' Kim has been sentenced to a year and 1 day in prison and fined $50,000 for lying to a federal grand jury in order to protect her friends involved in a 2001 shooting outside the Manhattan radio station WQHT-FM, known as Hot 97.
Hot 97 is not a stranger to gun battles, in Febuary there was gun trouble between rapper 50 Cent and The Game.
Security photos shown at trial showed Lil' Kim was a liar. She was shown with the people she claims she didn't see that night which includes, Damion Butler, her manager and Suif Jackson. Both men have pleaded guilty to gun charges.
Lil' Kim whose real name is Kimberly Jones turns 30 next week. Known for her barely there outfits the wrapper won a Grammy in 2001 for her collaboration on "Lady Marmalade".
