Harry Potter Actor Recovering from Swine Flu

Rupert Grint is currently battling a "mild bout" of swine flu, according to his publicist.

BBC News reported on Saturday (July 4) that the 20-year-old actor, who plays Ronald Weasley in the film version of the "Harry Potter" series, contracted swine flu but is recovering and is no longer contagious or at risk of infecting others, according to his doctor.

Grint took a few days off filming but has now returned to the set of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows," JK Rowling's final installment in the "Potter" series. He will also be well enough to attend the premiere of "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" in London on Tuesday (July 7).

"He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members," his publicist said.

"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" will be released in the U.S. on July 15.
