Harry Potter Actor Reveals How Film 7 Is Going to End
Now that the seventh "Harry Potter" book has been released, most viewers of the "Harry Potter" movies are no longer surprised by what happens in the films. But Joshua Herdman, who plays Slytherin villain Gregory Goyle in the "Potter" films, has revealed a surprise for the seventh movie, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow: Part I" that not many fans will know how the film is going to end.
Weeks ago at MuggleMayhem, the non-profit Potter symposium Herdman revealed that the current plan is to end the first film when Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) are captured by Snatchers, a gang of bounty hunters.
Part two of "Deathly Hallows" will open up at Malfoy Manor, the home of Voldemort supporter Lucius Malfoy, and what happens after that most fans already know. Yet while this is the current plan, director David Yates and the film producers may decide to change where the film ends.
Herdman also revealed another surprise: his character is going to die. In the book, it was Vincint Crabbe (Jamie Waylett) who dies but this has been changed because Waylett will not be returning for the final film, due to his arrest for cannabis possession.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" Part One and Two is based on the seventh "Harry Potter" book. Part One will be released in 2010, with Part Two due in 2011.
