Harry Potter Cast Visits Injured Stuntman
According to the Daily Mail Reporter, the stars of "Harry Potter" went to visit the badly injured stunt double of Daniel Radcliffe on Tuesday.
David Holmes suffered serious spinal injuries on the set of the latest film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows," and is still receiving treatment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in north London.
Accompanying Radcliffe was Tom Felton, the actor that plays Draco Malfoy. Both appeared distressed as they emerged from the spinal unit after their emotional visit.
As reported earlier by the Mirror, the 25-year-old double was sent plunging on January 28 by an explosion that was part of a flying sequence using a harness.
A source said: "The stunt double was badly hurt. He was rehearsing a flying scene which involved an explosion and it seems to have gone badly wrong. The guy was rigged up to a harness for the scene and was flying through the air. It is thought he may have been caught by the explosion and hit the ground very hard. He told crew members who went to help him he couldn't feel anything from the waist down. Everyone is just hoping he makes a good recovery. It has come as a terrible shock."
