Harry Potter Star to Perform Nude in London Drama

According to the Associated Press, 17-year-old English actor, Daniel Radcliffe, best known for his role as Harry Potter in the movie series, will be joining the London cast of "Equus," a Tony Award-winning drama, next summer . During one scene, Newsweek reports that the star will be naked.
Commenting on the shock this news may have on loyal fans, Radcliffe explains, "Part of me wants to shake up people's perception of me, just shove me in a blender." He adds, "It's a really challenging play, and if I can pull it off - we don't know if I can yet - I hope people will stop and think, 'Maybe he can do something other than Harry'."
In "Equus," Radcliffe will play the part of a disturbed young man who has an erotic obsession with horses.
Daniel Radcliffe was first discovered seven years ago in a London theater as part of the audience. He has since acted in the four Harry Potter movies based on J.K. Rowling's books. He is currently on the set of the fifth movie in the series, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and plans to reclaim the role in 2008's "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," as well.
