Harry Potter Trio Set for Final Two Films
It's official: all three Harry Potter stars are a lock to film the remaining two Potter films. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson will return as Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the phenomenally successful wizarding series based on J.K. Rowling's novels. The films have grossed tens of millions of dollars to date for the author and also for Warner Bros. Pictures. The two movies remaining to be filmed are Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. President of production, Jeff Robinov, boasts that he knew the three were a perfect fit for the roles from the very start. "When Daniel, Rupert, and Emma were first cast as Harry, Ron, and Hermione, we knew they were not only talented, but had a very special chemistry." He goes on to praise the youngsters for their growth, both as actors and as young adults. There was some worry recently that Watson would not reprise her role as Hermione Granger.
The series began in 2001, with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and the latest edition in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is due out in July.
