Hartnett Leads Candidates for "Thor" Film

IESB.net is reporting that there is a very short list on who's going to play the villain in the movie adaptation to the comic book series, "Thor."

Word is that Josh Hartnett is on the top of a list of actors set to play Loki, God of Mischief, in the upcoming superhero film. According to the movie Web site, Hartnett has met with Kenneth Brannagh, who will be directing the picture.

Loki, Thor's main antagonist, is the God of Mischief and is constantly fighting Thor as they battle for the crown for mythical land Asgard.

Brannagh has also met with actor Alexander Skarsgård, who was spotted meeting the director for lunch in Beverly Hills. Skarsgård is in the running to play title character Thor. Channing Tatum is another actor being mentioned for the role.
