Has Kendall Jenner chosen modeling over college?

Kendall Jenner is considering saying goodbye to schoolbooks and pom-poms once her high school years are over. A career in modeling has become a bigger priority for the reality star.

At the young age of 16, Jenner has another life outside of her high school’s walls. When she is not in the classroom or at cheerleading practice, the teen is walking the runway or posing for high-profile photo shoots. She has also graced the red carpets of movie premieres and awards shows.

PEOPLE spoke with Jenner about her modeling career while at Rent the Runway’s Pop-up Shop at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood.

“I’m not really thinking about college right now,” she said. “If my career, like, blows up and gets really big, [modeling] is what I would do.”

The model’s father, Bruce Jenner, stands behind her and 14-year-old sister Kylie’s possible decision to forgo a college education.

“If they want to go to college, certainly, I think it's a good idea. But I'm not the advocate of, 'You've got to go to college!' I think by the time they graduate from high school, they will probably be in a position to go right to working," he explained.

The younger sister of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney hasn’t always taken this profession seriously. Keeping Up With the Kardashians showed Jenner bickering with Kim over her lack of interest to be a runway model. She even goofed around and later stormed out during a private session with a modeling coach.

Have her interests changed since the episode aired?

“I want to [walk the runway] again and again,” Jenner said. “It was so much fun, like the adrenaline and everything was really fun.”

Somehow I don’t think Jenner will have any trouble finding work after high school but should she still go to college? We’ll see what she decides in just a few short years!
