Hasselhoff Blames His Ear Infection Medicine for Hospital Visit

According to David Hasselhoff's rep, the "America's Got Talent" judge was hospitalized due to a bad reaction to his medication.

America's Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff claims that it was not excessive drink that sent him to the hospital on Sunday but the side effects from his medicine for an ear infection.

Hasselhoff's rep claims that the former pop star's dizziness on Sunday, which was so excessive that his daughter found him passed out on the floor and called 911, was caused by the effects of one of two drugs that Hasselhoff was taking—an anti-nausea medicine and the anti-alcoholism drug Antiabuse.

"He is totally normal," said Hasselhoff's lawyer Mel Goldsman told to E!News. "He was released almost immediately after he arrived at the hospital."

Hasselhoff has a history with adverse reactions from medicine. In 2006, he claimed that he was banned from a British Airways flight because he was feeling sick from the antibiotics he was taking for his cut arm.
