Hasselhoff Saved by Daughter's Slaps

The '90s beach king David Hasselhoff was rushed to a local hospital on account of alcohol poisoning, reports Star magazine.

While at home with his 16-year-old daughter, Hasselhoff became unconscious and fell to the floor. His daughter called her mother, Hasselhoff's ex-wife, and kept slapping him in the face to keep him awake. He was barely breathing when medical staff arrived to the scene.

According to TMZ, many reports were a bit over the top and the former television lifeguard is at home, feeling fine. He even celebrated his father's 80th birthday. TMZ also reports that Hasselhoff's ex-wife was in strict violation of her restraining order by leaking this information to the media.

Also a singer and particularly successful in Germany, Hasselhoff has most recently hit the spotlight for his job of hosting America's Got Talent, reports Actress Archives.

When checked at the medical center, Hasselhoff had a .39 alcohol level.
