Hathaway and Boyfriend Split

Anne Hathaway, the star in fiims such as The Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries and co-star of the upcoming flim Get Smart, has broken up with her Italian boyfriend Raffelo Fallieri, People reports.

The 25-year-old actress and the 29-year-old businessman have been dating for four years. An anonymous source told People that the couple has repeatedly broken up and and resumed their relationship throughout the past four years.

"They are passionate people ... This breakup is one in a long line of previous breakups, so I don't think it's anything significant," the source said.

Hathaway and Fallieri have been spotted arguing recently, both in Paris and on the set of her new movie Bride Wars. Hathaway's family and handlers have reportedly told her that he is hurting her career.

Fallieri has also faced legal troubles, which included an arrest for bouncing a $215,000 check, the charges of which were later dropped. There is also an ongoing investigation into Fallieri's charitable foundation for failing to file necessary IRS documents. E! also reports that he is indebted $500,000 to American Express Bank.
