Ex-boyfriend arrested with Hathaway's assistance.

Rumor has it the actress aided the FBI in their investigation of her former boyfriend, Rafaello Follieri, according to Fametastic.

Supposedly, Hathaway helped the FBI under the agreement that he would be arrested when she was out of the country. A source also apparently told New York Daily News that Follieri was referred to as Hathaway's ex in the indictment before the news became public.

Follieri came under investigation after the financial irregularities of his charity attracted attention. Follieri has been charged with money-laundering offenses, according to Fametastic, and is in prison under a $21 million bail.

Incidentally, Hathaway was out of the country when Follieri was arrested. The Devil Wears Prada and Princess Diaries actress has been promoting her new film with Steve Carell, Get Smart.
