Healthcare Vote Gets Closer but Still Questions Linger

The Healthcare vote draws ever closer, however, public and lawmakers alike still have questions.

It seems there are no easier answers to the much debated healthcare reform, especially when there are still so many questions. The vote, as of right now set to begin sometime around 8pm tonight, will determine if the House passes the Senate bill. They have come up with a package of amendments to the Senate bill which leaders are hoping will help the bill to pass in the House.

Democrats are optimistic that the bill will pass tonight because there are 216 Dems in the House and 216 is the number of votes the bill needs in order to pass.

With the abortion language in the bill still the number one argue point, the package of amendments which House leaders worked will hopefully settle the problems. If it satisfies the anti-abortion Democrats, then the bill would most likely get the support it needs to pass.

If the House passes the healthcare bill tonight, then President Barack Obama will be able to sign it into law.
