Actress Heather Locklear was released from a hospital Friday after being admitted to the hospital Thursday following a frantic 911 call by her sister. Locklear had reportedly taken a dangerous mix of drugs and alcohol.
E! News reports that a spokeswoman issued a statement saying that Locklear was released, adding that, “She's fine, she was mobile, she was walking, she was dressed, she was talkative and she'll have follow-up care through her personal physicians.”
The spokeswoman also said that her “spirits were very good” and that her parents were “glad” when the doctors made the decision that the Melrose Place actress could leave the hospital.
According to TMZ, Locklear was released from the hospital at around 5 p.m. PST Friday afternoon.
Locklear was hospitalized Thursday after her sister frantically called 911, reportedly fearing for her life, according to E! News. She was taken to the Los Robbles hospital, where a spokeswoman confirmed that she arrived at the intensive care unit “agitated.” The spokeswoman also confirmed that her parents do not beleive it had been a suicide attempt.
"Her parents wanted her fans to know this was not a suicide attempt and that she's doing really well and very good," the spokeswoman said at the time.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the actress is currently “having a hard time” dealing with her on-again-off-again relationship with Jack Wagner. They called off their latest engagement, but had been back together again before breaking up recently.
People reports that she had previously felt suicidal in 2008, when she was admitted for treatment at an Arizona facility.
