Heather Locklear Returning To Updated "Melrose Place"
The CW announced Heather Locklear would return to "Melrose Place." She is scheduled to make her debut appearance on Nov. 17. No details were released on how many appearances Locklear will make on the series. She will reprise her role as devious Amanda Woodward.
Executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer told Access Hollywood, "We're ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to 'Melrose Place. Heather's involvement in the show is something we've been working on for some time as we couldn't imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character's inclusion."
Locklear is not the first but the one most anticipated to return to the show. Former cast mates Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bisset, and Daphne Zuniga will also appear this season.
"Melrose Place's" premiere averaged a disappointing 2.3 million viewers. Can Amanda help the shows ratings struggle and make this a hit show?
