Heidi Klum speaks out for the first time after separation on Twitter

After the announcement that Hollywood's most romantic couple was separating a few weeks ago, fans and members of the Hollywood community were shocked and saddened. In the weeks since the announcement, Seal has been out promoting his new album and speaking about the couple's relationship, while Heidi Klum has been staying quiet and keeping a low profile.

The couple has openly talked about their loving relationship in the past, would always show their affection towards each other in public and would renew their vows once a year. According to MSN, Seal has commented that the couple grew apart and has been clear that he still loves Klum, voicing his feelings on several talk shows during the past few weeks.

"I think we were shocked because you go into these things with the greatest intentions and when you say 'I do' and 'til death do us part,' those vows hold value," Seal said. "They're not just words."

After numerous appearances by the singer, Klum has finally stepped out of the silence and taken a moment to thank fans for their support. According to People.com, Klum had not tweeted since Jan. 15, but took to Twitter to reach out to her fans.

"Hi everyone, I wanted to thank u for all your support & kind words," Klum wrote. "It really means so much. Thanks again…to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi"

The couple reiterated that they still very much love each other in a statement to People when the announcement was first made. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much," said the statement. "But we have grown apart."
