Heidi Montag may pose for Playboy

Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt refused to officially confirm that Montag was going to pose for Playboy magazine, but Pratt said that "hypothetically" the issue might hit the stands on August 15.

It came as a surprise when Montag, 22, who twitters constantly about Christianity, talked about posing for Playboy, especially since she has been quoted on "I'm a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here," a show she recently quit with Pratt, as wanting to be Mother Teresa and helping the poor.

"I'm more of a modern Mother Teresa," she said. "I would take things with moderation. I think God created the body. I think we're born naked. We die naked. I don't think it's something to be ashamed of. I think the body is a beautiful piece of artwork that God created. I have nothing to be ashamed of."

She would do it "tastefully," she said.

Ex - Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day, who has herself posed for the magazine, has endorsed Montag's decision.

"I hope she feels as liberated as I did," O'Day said.
