High School Musical 4 in Production
Another installment of "High School Musical" will be written and produced.
According to Us Magazine, Disney Channel Worldwide is in the process of creating High School Musical 4 to satisfy the fans of the popular teen movies.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year will begin production later this month in Utah with stars Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman. The film is set to be released in October in theatres nationwide. It is the first film in the series to make it to the big screen.
Disney Channel Worldwide President Rich Ross has revealed that new characters may be introduced in HSM3. This may be due to the fact that some original cast members may not return for HSM4.
Tisdale has publicly stated her love for the films, but has also expressed that it may be time to move on with her acting career. When asked where she sees her career going, the actress replied that she would enjoy acting in more romantic comedies.
