High School Musical Star Zac Efron Rushed to ER

Zac Efron was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy on Tuesday. Efron is famous for the role he played in High School Musical, but was also seen in the musical, Hairspray. Efron had his appendectomy the day after Disney revealed, for the first time, they were going to bring High School Musical 3: Senior Year to the big screen. "Efron, 20, will join Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and other stars of the first two made-for-television High School movies," said Reuters. The High School Musical movies have been a hit for teenagers across the country; many fans look forward to the third movie that will begin production later this year.
