Higher Quality Reality Shows to Air on VH1
Kudos to VH1 for attempting to reinvent America’s idea of the reality show, and create better quality TV for their viewers.
Let’s give them a brief hand clap. But the real question is will it work?
The channel has announced that they have greenlighted three new reality programs to air on the network in the next coming months.
The first show, Famous Crime Scene debuts in a few weeks, on February 12, and will look at the tragic and untimely deaths of celebrities like Tupac Shakur, Anna Nicole Smith, John Lennon and Michael Jackson.
The next one, Transform Me, premieres on March 15 and will follow three transgendered females who give other women style makeovers and emotion support.
The final show, Undateable, is a five-hour special that will air over five consecutive nights, and discuss what men do wrong in women’s eyes.
Interesting line-up, but only time will tell if people will watch it. It seems like the idea of the reality show revolves about scandals, fights, hook-ups and breakups.
VH1 has a lot on their plate; otherwise, the celebrity looking for love show has seemed to work in their favor.
