Hilary Duff Heats Up 'Stay Cool'

This one has "creepy" written all over it.

Stay Cool is about a successful author (not Stephenie Meyer) who is invited to give the commencement speech at his old high school. The catch: he has to deal with his feelings for an old flame (Winona Ryder).

Here's where the creepy comes in. Hilary Duff is a high school senior who has the hots for him and invites him to the senior prom. Isn't that riding the line of illegal behavior? It would be great if the guy from NBC's Dateline: To Catch A Predator showed up.

My question is when will Hilary Duff stop taking roles set in high school? Hopefully our little Lizzie Maguire can finally grow up as a homicidal maniac in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde due in 2010.
