Hilary Duff pregnant with first child

Hilary Duff isn't Lizzie McGuire anymore! Duff is now expecting her first child with her husband, Mike Comrie.

The singer/actress married Comrie, who plays hockey in the NHL, one year ago. Duff reflected on the first year with her newlywed, and then made the big announcement, saying, "We also want to share the exciting news that... BABY MAKES THREE."

Duff, 23, said that she and Comrie, 30, are extremely happy and ready to start their new lives as parents.

The news is a little surprising to fans of the couple. Earlier this month, Duff had said that she and Comrie definitely wanted to have kids, but would wait a little longer, as she was thinking about putting a new album out.

Duff also turned down rumors in January that said she was expecting. She tweeted, "Not true. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol."
