Hilary Duff reveals she's having a boy on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Pregnant Hilary Duff appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and announced that she and husband Mike Comrie will be welcoming a baby boy.

The 24-year-old told the talk show host during a Friday appearance that she hasn’t told anyone the news yet, and she wanted Ellen – and her viewers -- to be the first to know.

She notes “I just found out,” and "It's a boy! I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time,” Us Magazine reports.

Duff, a former Disney star, also said that pregnancy is "kind of like a little alien has taken over your body. You just don't quite feel normal. But it's cool."

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Duff explained how she told her husband. “…he was in the shower. I think sometimes when you imagine it you think you’re going to do it in some cute way….I just ran in and he was in the shower and I just held up the test and I was like, oh my god. And he was like AHH! He was soaking wet. We were just like a mess and started crying. It was really exciting,” she said.

Duff dropped out of the Bonnie and Clyde remake due to her pregnancy.
