Hilary Duff Stalked

18-year-old Russian teen, Maksim Miakovsky was accused of stalking and making death threats to the 19-year-old actress/singer Hilary Duff.

Miakovsky was planning on killing the star on Sunday at an event she was scheduled to attend. Luckily, the Manhattan Beach police caught the teen before doing any harm to Duff.

According to the police, Miakovsky told them his whole plot to do away with the young Duff. He apparently moved from Russia to California, to proclaim his love to the star and said that he had a gun with him just in case the feelings were not mutual.

The Duff family along with Hilary's boyfriend, Joel Madden from music group Good Charlotte, have all filed a restraining order against Miakovsky.

Miakovsky's arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday and he is on bail for $200,000.
