The Hills star cuts her name short

Hedi Montag chooses to drop the 'Pratt' from her last name.'The Hills' reality television star has decided to drop her married name and will go back to using only her maiden name which is Montag. Montag married Spencer Pratt in April of 2009 and took on his last name since then. Montag has recently been on the cover of Playboy magazine and is said to currently be working on her music career.According to PerezHilton.com, a source said "She was using Pratt after her wedding. But she's going back to just Montag now that she's in Playboy and about to perform on Miss Universe and release her album."

Montag and Pratt were contestants in this summer's hit 'I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here' where they caused commotion on a daily basis by constantly leaving and returning to the cast.

No date is set for the release of Montag's album
