Hilton Seeks the Terminator for Forgiveness

The recently busted socialite, Paris Hilton, turned to California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to release her from jail time.

The heiress posted an online plea on her MySpace page, asking for fans to sign a petition urging that Schwarzenegger forgives her because she provides "beauty and excitement to our otherwise mundane lives."

Aaron McClear, a Schwarzenegger spokesman, told the media that the governor's office hadn't yet reviewed the petition. "We'll treat this as we would any other case of this nature, but it would be premature for the Governor to get involved until the individual has exhausted his or her judicial remedies," McLear added.

The office also received a huge amount of e-mails both for and against a gubernatorial pardon.
