Hockey Team To Hold "Dick Cheney's Hunting Vest Night"

Last month's vice presidential accident is this month's theme night.

This way, no one will get hurt.

The Las Vegas Wranglers, a minor-league hockey team, announced it will distribute 1,000 orange hunting vests printed "Don't Shoot, I'm Human" at a Friday game in honor of Vice President Dick Cheney, whose hunting accident has passed into legend.

Cheney was quail hunting in Texas Feb. 11 with lawyer friend Harry Whittington when the Veep accidentally shot his friend in the face, neck and chest. Whittington subsequently suffered a heart attack but has since been released from the hospital; the parodies, however, continue to this day.

Wranglers president Billy Johnson said the promotion was "sort of too juicy not to do." In case you're local, the puck hits the ice at 7PM at the Orleans Arena; the team plays the Alaska Aces.
