Holders of Michael Jackson Concert Tickets to Get Refund

According to MTV.com, the 750,000 holders of tickets for Michael Jackson's upcoming concert series at the O2 Arena in London will be issued refunds upon request. AEG Live, the concert promoters, have announced that fans may go online to MichaelJacksonLive.com anytime before August 14 to receive a full refund. They also have the option of receiving a collector's keepsake of the ticket, featuring art designed by Jackson himself.

AEG president Randy Phillips said of the offer, "The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known. Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death."

The concert series, entitled "This Is It," was expanded to 50 shows from July to March of next year, with the first show set to begin on July 13.
