Holly Madison Gets Ready to "Dance"

Dancing with the Stars is about to have another contestant.

Hef's former girlfriends are working hard now that they're living life outside of the Playboy Mansion, and Holly Madison has just landed a new job.

According to Fox News, former co-star and fellow girlfriend Bridget Marquardt announced on Wednesday that Madison will be appearing on the new season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Marquardt mentioned that appearing on the show had been a longtime dream of Madison's, and that she was thrilled to appear in next week's premiere. She had been unavailable previously due to a scheduling problem and ex Hugh Hefner's desire to keep her off the show.

"I'm so excited for her," Marquardt said. "She's wanted to do it for so long, it just never worked with her schedule and Hef was always like, 'I don't want you to do that,' and now it's her time, so I'm really happy for her."

Rumors had begun earlier this week about Madison possibly taking over for country singer Jewel, who revealed that tendonitis in her knee might keep her from dancing in this season's competition. Us magazine spoke to a source who denied that Jewel was out of the competition, claiming that she will be present on Monday's first episode.

This does not fit with Marquardt's very recent news that Madison will also appear on next Monday's show, and that she is looking forward to seeing Madison compete.

Madison has been in the news recently due to her breakup with magician Criss Angel, who she has been dating since her split with Hefner a few months ago.
