How did Lea Michele celebrate People's Choice Award win? (Video)
Lea Michele took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Comedy Actress on Wednesday night.
The Glee star beat out some tough competition in Cougar Town’s Courteney Cox, The Big Bang Theory star and PCA host, Kaley Cuoco, 30 Rock’s Tina Fey and her very own Glee co-star Jane Lynch for the award.
Before winning it, she told Access Hollywood on the red carpet “Listen, I’m in the same category as Jane Lynch so I got no chance but I’m just really happy to be here.”
During her speech, she portrayed just how close she is with her co-stars as she said “I want to dedicate this to my amazing cast, my ‘Glee’ club. You are my family and my best friends. I’m an only child and now I have 11 other siblings.”
After the show, however, Michele tweeted how she chose to celebrate.
“Such an incredible night! Im so so grateful and happy:) Back at home now celebrating in PJs eating pasta with my cousin watching movies!,” she said.
Broadway World reports that Michele’s fellow Broadway veteran Neil Patrick Harris won the award for Favorite TV Comedy Actor for How I Met Your Mother.
