Howard K. Stern Arrested
Howard K. Stern, attorney of the late Anna Nicole Smith, has been arrested, according to People.com. He, along with two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, have been booked for giving drugs to Smith illegally, and for providing drugs to an addict.
Stern was arrested and booked in Whittier, California, with a $20,000 bail. Kapoor was also booked in Whittier, and a warrant has been issued for Eroshevich's arrest. Stern was a big part of Smith's life for two years, and engaged in a custody battle over Smith's daughter, Dannielynn. The three defendants allegedly conspired to provide Smith with controlled substances between June 2004 and January 2007.
Smith was a former Playboy model, and star of The Anna Nicole Show. She was also a spokesperson for the weight loss supplement, Trimspa. Smith died in Februrary 2007 of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, just months after her 20-year-old son, Daniel, also passed away from an overdose. Smith was 39.
